This miniature fan is a related product of my thesis project, and they are both inspired by childhood memories. When I was a child, my parents and I lived in my grandparents’ family house along with other uncles and aunts and their children. Everyday after lunch my grandparents would ask me to take a nap. I never wanted to sleep after lunch, so I would spend my nap time daydreaming about whatever currently caught my interest. Lying in bed, I would always eventually fall asleep while staring up at the ceiling fan—its blades rotating slowly in circles and its motor making a tiny hum of a noise. 

I had a very pleasant childhood surrounded and nurtured by my extended family. Their unconditional love and support keeps me going whenever I feel like I want to give up. I would like to thank my family and friends for their tremendous and continuous love and support.
